Welcome to The B-Side Library Society! A monthly snail mail music club. Each month subscribers will receive a curated envelope designed around an album. Inside, you will find writing, artist/album history, and recommendations designed to help you slow down and explore new music. 

As an inaugural member, you will receive a founding member library card and an informative Black Music Month postcard as part of June's envelope.

What you will receive each month: 

  • A letter - a note introducing the month's theme
  • Album notes + curated playlist - a guided through the album with context and archival bits
  • Listening log - a collectible card 
  • Listening prompts - an invitation to reflect on the album and share your thoughts
  • Album recommendations - related records to explore based on the monthly album
  • Album sticker - a small sticker 
  • Founding library card - June only 
  • Black Music Month informative postcard - June only

How it works: 

  • Subscribe by the 15th to receive this month’s envelope; subscriptions on the 16th or later start with next month’s envelope
  • Mail is sent via standard untracked postal mail. Please allow up to 12 business days for fulfillment and delivery (timings vary by location)

How does the subscription work?

Enrollment is open until the 15th of each month.

Example

  • Join on June 15, you will receive June’s envelope
  • Join on June 16, your subscription begins with July’s envelope
When do envelopes ship?

Envelopes ship once a month, typically between the 15th and 20th.

A confirmation email is sent when your mailing is on its way.
Where do you ship?

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel at any time. Cancellations made after the 15th apply to the following month.
What if my envelope is lost or damaged?

If your envelope arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, a replacement will be sent. Please allow up to 12 business days for delivery, as shipping times vary. Use the contact page to get in touch.
